When I was creating the HOUSELESS series I, realized the increase of local homelessness was just one small piece of a larger global migratory movement from insects to people. Disruption of entire species and ecosystems appear to be provoked by anything from human skull-duggery, mismanagement and chaos to climate change. In January of 2020 Trump was pressing on with his border wall, threatening the Butterfly Sanctuary along the Rio Grande in Texas. In protest, I created "Borderwall Rio Grande”.
